PURESPHERE 9718
Ni 19Cr 18Fe 5Nb 3Mo 1Ti 0.5Al · Inconel 718
9718 is a precipitation-hardening nickel-chromium superalloy powder developed for additive manufacturing applications requiring exceptional strength, corrosion resistance, and high-temperature performance. The alloy maintains excellent tensile, fatigue, and creep properties at temperatures up to approximately 650°C, while offering outstanding resistance to oxidation and aggressive environments. Its excellent processability, low crack susceptibility, and stable microstructure make 9718 well suited for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB, SLM, DMLS), enabling the production of complex, high-performance components with reliable mechanical properties. Typical applications include turbine blades and discs, combustion system components, aerospace engine parts, oil and gas equipment, power generation components, and other demanding applications requiring long-term performance in elevated-temperature environments.
Other particle size distributions are available on request, from 15 µm upward.
