PURESPHERE 97002

Alloy X · Ni 22Cr 18.5Fe 9Mo 1.5Co 0.6W

97002 is an Alloy X-type nickel-chromium-iron-molybdenum superalloy powder for additive manufacturing, combining outstanding oxidation resistance, high-temperature strength and fabricability. It resists oxidizing, reducing and neutral atmospheres up to approximately 1200 °C and offers good resistance to stress corrosion cracking in petrochemical environments. Vacuum melted and argon atomized into spherical powder, 97002 is designed for Laser Powder Bed Fusion (PBF-LB, SLM, DMLS), and parts can be stress relieved, solution annealed or HIPed to tune their properties. Typical applications include gas turbine combustor and transition components, afterburner and tailpipe parts, industrial furnace hardware, and petrochemical and heat treatment equipment.
